As Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis for NeoSystems, Carlos Alvarado has over a decade of experience working with government contractors and commercial entities. His specialized experience in analyzing key performance indicators using best-in-class tools means he brings great “goal accomplishment” insight to the companies NeoSystems serves. Since joining NeoSystems in 2004, Carlos has established and expanded NeoSystems’ Financial Planning & Analysis practice to include a strategic partnership with IBM. He has successfully provided government contracting clients with support in various sectors, including developing competitive indirect rates, integrating Business Intelligence and Earned Value Management Systems, determining pricing for government proposals, and assisting companies through DCAA-led audits. In the commercial sector, Carlos works with companies to integrate reporting tools, specifically the IBM® Cognos® suite, into every-day operations to increase efficiency and lower costs. Prior to joining NeoSystems, Carlos worked for a government contractor, providing support in the areas of Accounting, Finance, and Contracts. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Maryland.
