Robin Prausa leads NeoSystems’ Managed Accounting Services group, which performs the accounting operations for over 100 government contractors on a day-to-day basis. With extensive experience in the industry, Robin is a subject matter expert and thought leader on compliance issues.
Robin’s widespread experience with resolving accounting issues and challenges led to the creation of NeoSystems’ Standardization committee. This group is responsible for educating internal staff on changing government regulations and implementing consistent best practices across the client base. Robin also leads the Training team, which specializes in best practices for using Deltek GCS Premier®.
Prior to NeoSystems, Robin served as General Manager for The New Republic magazine. She also spent 10 years at Time Life Inc. in various supervisory positions, including Assistant Controller and Divisional Finance Manager.
Robin’s experience in government contracting accounting includes her tenure as Director of Accounting with BTG, Inc. and as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen.
Robin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of New Mexico. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
